1. District Information and Information for Volunteers

Anyone interested in volunteering their time and/or services to the Orange Mountains District is encouraged to contact the District Chair or the Chair of the
appropriate committee using the contact information available on our about page.  In addition, basic information about the District and its functions may be found through the FAQ page.  Volunteers and new leaders are highly encouraged to seek Training Opportunities as soon as possible upon their entry into Scouting service.  Training benefits the leader and youth alike, and it is only through providing a trained staff of volunteers that units, the District and Scouting can continue to grow in strength and quality.

The District holds Roundtables for leaders.  Please click the link for locations, dates and times.
2. Youth Protection Information

All leaders should avail themselves of the Youth Protection Training made available by the Boy Scouts of America.  For more information about training opportunities and youth protection policies, contact our Youth Protection Committee Chair.
3. Training

Trained leaders are vital to ensuring that Scouts receive the full benefits and value of the Scouting program.  All leaders, whatever their affiliation, are highly encouraged to seek all available training programs and opportunities.  For more information about training, contact the Chair of the Training Committee.
